Program description: Isadora is a mom of two, performer, and teacher. She's taught Pilates and movement to professional dancers, aspiring movers, and fitness lovers. Her challenging sessions tone, align, focus, and create the pathways for CHANGE. She has rehabilitated her own body through injuries, pregnancies, diastasis, surgery, and she returns to her core self on her mat, every day. Through her practice and her training, Isadora is continually reminded of the body's ability to surmount the seemingly impossible. Born in Lowell, Mass., she graduated from NYU after training with Boston Ballet. A founding member of Johannes Wieland's NYC company, Isadora danced for Wieland in the US & Staatstheater Kassel, Germany. She has performed with choreographers/directors such as Martha Clarke (Garden of Earthly Delights, Angel Reapers), Richard Jones (The Hairy Ape), Gerald Casel Dance, Muna Tseng, among others . In 2011 Isadora joined Punchdrunk's Sleep No More & is now Resident Director of the NYC cast. She has taught at numerous festivals & universities nationally and abroad. Isadora is adjunct faculty at The Juilliard School. She is also a Berkshire Theatre Group alum and has appeared in several BTG productions and had the pleasure of doing movement direction/choreography for Eric Hill, E. Gray Simons III and David Auburn.
