01:10ZONING- SPECIAL PERMITS: 1. (Public Hearing) Application submitted by Darren M. Lee on behalf of EMS Automotive for a Special Permit under Section 23-8 (Non-Conformities) of the Pittsfield Zoning Ordinance. The request is to allow for the expansion of an existing non-conforming gas/automotive service station located at 51 Center Street to include the ancillary retail sale of snowplows and related snow removal equipment in the Downtown Creative District (DCD). The parcel can further be identified as Assessor Map H8, Block 21, Parcel 1 and in Deed Book 1047, Page 847.
01:58ZONING AMENDMENTS 1. (Public Hearing Contd.)- A petition from the Pittsfield City Council to amend City Code Article 23 Section 4.331 (Battery Energy Storage Systems, Battery Energy Storage System Facilities, And Battery Energy Storage Systems) by replacing Paragraph E as proposed to remove the Community Development Board as Special Permit Granting Authority and replace it with the Pittsfield City Council, and to rename references to the Planning Board with Community Development Board.
53:45ZONING AMENDMENTS 2. Request for the Community Development Board to become the petitioner for the following update to City Code Chapter 23, Article 23-9, Section 9 (Accessory Uses) to reflect regulations concerning Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) to conform with new state legislation.
